What began as one barber and a Subaru became something Connecticut had never seen — a new standard for personal care, delivered at your door. Ten years of showing up. Ten years of getting it right.

How It Started

In 2015, Christian Patrick had a simple idea: bring the barbershop to the client, instead of the other way around. With a pair of clippers in the back of his Subaru, he began traveling across Fairfield County — bringing professional grooming directly to people's homes.

What he didn't expect was how much it would mean to the people who opened the door.

The senior who hadn't left the house in months. The dad who couldn't find two hours on a Saturday. The kid with sensory sensitivities who'd never had a haircut that didn't end in tears.

These were the people nobody was building for.

That first year, Christian drove more miles than he can remember. By year two, word had spread. By year five, Doorbell Barbers had become something entirely new — a premium in-home grooming service built on professionalism, consistency, and trust.

The inspiration behind our care services came from Christian's grandfather, Joe Iannucci — a lifelong Connecticut barber who visited clients in hospitals well into his later years.

He didn't do it for the money. He did it because he believed everyone deserved to feel fresh and seen, no matter their age or mobility.

We carry that spirit forward in every senior care visit, every Parkinson's appointment, every hospital visit. It's not just a service. It's a calling.

In 2025, we celebrated our 10th anniversary — humbled by the trust of our clients, the loyalty of our team, and the journey that brought us here.

Ten years.
One appointment at a time.

2015
Founded. One barber, one Subaru, and a very simple idea: bring the barbershop to the client. First clients in Stamford and Fairfield.
2016
Featured by News Channel 12 and News Channel 8. The concept begins to spread, and word of mouth travels quickly across Fairfield County. Doorbell Salon launches — Connecticut's first premium on-demand beauty service, offering blowouts, makeup, facials, nails, and massage at home.
2017
Wedding services launch. The first "wedding morning" experience — groomsmen, one hotel room, and a row of straight razors. Doorbell Barbers becomes Connecticut's original wedding barber. First time working the Grammy Awards in New York City.
2019
Senior care services formalized. Inspired by Joe Iannucci, dedicated in-home haircuts begin for homebound seniors, hospital patients, and assisted living communities.
2020–2021
COVID-19 Pandemic. Doorbell Barbers becomes a trusted provider of safe in-home grooming while traditional barbershops temporarily close.
2023
Preferred backstage wellness vendor at Total Mortgage Arena in Bridgeport. First MET Gala appearance, with features in Vogue and GQ.
2024
Hospital bedside grooming grows. Our barbers begin regularly serving patients at hospitals across Fairfield and New Haven counties, including Yale New Haven and Hartford HealthCare facilities. Wedding services expand to West Palm Beach, Florida.
2025
10th Anniversary. Over 80,000 services delivered and a team of 25 professionals. Still showing up. Still proud of every haircut.
2026
Preferred backstage wellness vendor at PeoplesBank Arena in Hartford, with tour wellness days across Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. Wedding grooming now runs from Maine to Palm Beach, with destination quotes on request. Still writing the story.

Meet the Founder

Christian Patrick

Founder & Owner · Doorbell Barbers & Doorbell Salon

Christian Patrick started his first business at 12 years old as a mobile DJ. The idea was simple: show up at someone’s door and make their day better. Years later, that same philosophy would become Doorbell Barbers.

A graduate of Marymount Manhattan College in Business Communications, an Eagle Scout, and co-founder of City Wine Tours, Christian has spent much of his life building businesses around hospitality, human connection, and memorable experiences.

In 2015, he founded Doorbell Barbers, carrying forward the barbering tradition of his grandfather, Joe Iannucci. What began as a mobile grooming concept has grown into a team of 25 professionals, delivering more than 80,000 services across private homes, wedding celebrations, corporate events, and backstage at major concert productions.

Despite the company’s growth, Christian remains hands-on, guided by the same belief that started it all: great service is personal, the smallest details matter, and how you make someone feel is what they’ll remember.

At home, he’s husband to Rafaella and dad to Bernardo, Bruno, and Frida, the family’s Boston Terrier.
