We'd rather you know exactly how it works. In Türkiye, hair transplants are performed in licensed clinics by dedicated medical teams, and only licensed medical professionals may touch the patient. Here's who is with you on procedure day.
Medical oversight

No extra charge for more grafts: Shewolf's medical team sets your graft count based on your assessment, not your budget. FUE, DHI or beard all cost the same. With round-trip airfare from the Northeast, expect about $5,700 all-in (fares vary by season).
Once Shewolf confirms you're a good candidate and you've booked flights, a $500 deposit to Doorbell Barbers secures your date. The remaining $3,700 is paid in cash at the clinic before your procedure. The deposit is our referral fee, so you pay no markup. It's non-refundable, but it can be moved once to a new date within 6 months.
US figures are 2026 averages reported by Cherry and Natural Transplants. US clinics usually charge per graft ($4–$10 each), so the difference grows on larger cases. Shewolf's price stays the same.

Shewolf recommends a technique after reviewing your photos. All three are the same price.
DHI
Grafts are placed with a fine implanter pen. Often possible without shaving the top, which suits men who want to keep their length.
Sapphire FUE
Follicles are moved one by one, with sapphire blades used to open very small channels. Well suited to larger areas and higher graft counts.
Beard transplant
Fills patchy or thin areas of the beard and mustache using follicles from the back of the head, placed at the low angles beard hair grows at.
Results take a year. Here's the path.
Timelines vary. Follow Shewolf's aftercare instructions closely. The first 3 days, 10 days and month are the critical periods.

How do you know Shewolf?

Who actually performs the procedure?
Shewolf's specialist team. A supervising physician clears and oversees every procedure, an anesthesiologist handles the local anesthesia, and licensed nurses and paramedics with 7–10+ years of hair transplant experience do the extraction and implantation. This is the standard model in Türkiye, where only licensed medical professionals can touch the patient. Doorbell Barbers is not a medical provider; we handle your consultation, the introduction, and your grooming before and after.
Who do I pay, and when?
Your consultation is free. Once Shewolf confirms you're a good candidate and you've booked flights, you pay a $500 deposit to Doorbell Barbers to hold your date. The remaining $3,700 is paid in cash at the clinic before the procedure. The total is $4,200, the same as booking directly with Shewolf. That deposit is how we're paid for the referral; Shewolf doesn't pay us anything on top. It's non-refundable, but if something serious comes up, we'll work with Shewolf to move your date once, within 6 months.
Do I pay more for more grafts?
No. Shewolf's medical team sets your graft count after an individual assessment of your needs and donor capacity, and the $4,200 price stays the same. FUE, DHI and beard transplants all cost the same.
What if Shewolf can't go ahead on the day?
Your health comes first, and Shewolf will never start a procedure that puts it at risk. If something like nervous high blood pressure needs settling, they wait or postpone, and your deposit moves to a new date within 6 months. If they determine the procedure can't be done safely, it's treated as a cancellation. That's why you'll share your full medical history before booking: it protects your health and your deposit. We also recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation.
Does it hurt?
The procedure is done under local anesthesia, and Shewolf's team can discuss sedation options. Most people describe mild soreness and tightness for a few days afterward. Shewolf will explain what to expect for your case.
How long will I be in Istanbul?
Three nights. A typical trip: fly out Saturday, arrive Sunday, have the procedure Monday, go back Tuesday for the medical wash and bandage removal, and fly home Wednesday.
Is it safe? Is there a guarantee?
Every surgical procedure carries some risk. Shewolf screens your photos and health details before confirming, and works in a Ministry of Health authorized clinic with an anesthesiologist present. Transplanted hair comes from the back of the head, which is resistant to the hormone behind pattern hair loss, so results are generally long-lasting, though no outcome can be promised. There's no money-back guarantee; success depends heavily on following the aftercare instructions during the first few days and weeks, and Shewolf monitors you closely through that period.
What if something seems off once I'm home?

Can I keep my hair long?
Often, yes. DHI can usually be done without shaving the top. Shewolf will tell you whether it's right for your case.
When will I see results?
New growth typically starts around months 3–5, with the full result at about 12 months. Results vary.
