    The Send-Off Toast

    Glasses up, gentlemen.

Before the crew heads out, we pour a round and raise a send-off toast written for the people in the room — how you met, who’s standing beside you, and the moment ahead. Here’s the full toast from a recent wedding morning.

    Gentlemen, glasses up.

Today we’re raising an 18-year Knob Creek to Dan, Meghan, and everything that brought them to this moment.

This bourbon spent 18 years becoming what it is today — a fitting reminder that the best things in life are built with time, patience, character, and the people we share them with.

Four years ago, on Halloween weekend, Dan met Meghan and knew almost immediately there was something different about her. She was beautiful, kind, driven — and within those first few weeks, he was already falling for her.

On their first real date, Meghan brought Dan Chris Stapleton’s Traveller on vinyl. By Christmas, Dan knew he had found the woman he wanted to travel through life with.

Since then, they’ve built a life together — moving apartments in the city, celebrating incredible moments, and standing beside each other through some of the hardest, including the loss of Dan’s father, John, and Meghan’s grandmother, Sandy — better known as Grandma Tic Tac. Those are the people we carry with us into days like today, and there is no doubt they are part of this moment too.

And today, Dan gets the moment he’s been waiting for most: seeing Meghan walk down that aisle.

    Dan, look around this room.

Matt, your best man and a friend for more than 20 years — someone whose discipline, maturity, and commitment to his own marriage has taught you a great deal about the man and husband you want to be.

Dan K., your officiant, college friend, and one of those rare people who naturally brings everyone together. From New Year’s parties at his parents’ house to some of the earliest memories of you and Meghan together, he has been part of this story from the beginning.

Trevor, another friendship that began in college — a brilliant, community-minded, loyal Canadian who has remained one of your closest friends through every chapter since.

Anthony and Brandon, Meghan’s brothers, who welcomed you into their family from the start. You love them tremendously, and today they’re not just Meghan’s brothers — they’re your brothers too.

Shaun, one of Meghan’s best friends from college, who has been there through so much of her life and now gets to stand beside both of you as your worlds officially become one.

And Tony — Meghan’s dad. From the beginning, you made Dan feel welcome. Dan sees you as a role model, admires your generosity, and has tremendous respect for the man, husband, and father you are. Having your support means more to him than he could probably ever put into words.

And Dan, these men standing around you today represent decades of friendship, family, lessons, memories, and love. They helped shape the man standing here now.

But Meghan is the person you chose to build everything that comes next with.

You admire her ambition, her drive, her perseverance, and above all, her kindness. You see the way she shows up as a daughter, sister, friend, and even as a dog mom — and you knew almost from the beginning that she was the one.

So here’s to Dan and Meghan.

To the people who brought you here, to John and Grandma Tic Tac watching over this day, to the friends and family standing beside you, and to the moment later today when Dan sees Meghan walking toward him.

And most importantly, to a lifetime of stories worth raising a glass to.

    Cheers.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before your morning of.

How much time do we need to set aside?+
It depends on your package and party size. For up to 8 groomsmen, plan 6 hours for the Classic (one barber), 4½ hours for the Premium (two barbers) and 5 hours for the Royal. Those windows are the same for any party of up to 8; larger parties add time for each extra groomsman, and adding a master barber keeps a big party on schedule. Your estimate is shown on each package above, and we'll send a full day-of itinerary after booking.
What if we don't love bourbon?+
No problem. We're happy to bring any bottle of your choice within a $50 budget — just let us know your preference when you book.
Do you offer services for just the groom?+
We specialize in full group experiences for parties of 4 or more. Solo groom bookings aren't something we currently offer.
I have sensitive skin — will I get razor burn?+
Our barbers use a meticulous prep method: warm towel, pre-shave lotion, and a mini facial to reduce redness. Your skin will be camera-ready, not irritated.
What space do you need on-site?+
A 10×10 ft area is ideal. We're adaptable — if it's a standard hotel room, we'll rearrange furniture to fit our setup. We come with everything we need.
Most of our guys have beards. Can you work with that?+
Absolutely. Our barbers trim, shape, and edge beards using scissors, clippers, and a straight razor along the exterior. We use only organic beard products — oil, balm, and witch hazel.
    When is payment due?+
Payment is charged to the card on file 72 hours before your wedding day. A 20% gratuity, applicable state sales tax, and any travel or parking charges are included at that time. AMEX cards carry an additional 3% fee.
Can you keep our experience private and off social media?+
Absolutely. We're happy to sign an NDA and keep your experience completely confidential. Just let us know and we'll take care of it.
    Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes — fully licensed and insured. If your venue needs documentation, email bookings@doorbellbarbers.com with the venue name, address, and a contact number.
Is gratuity included in the price?+
Gratuity is not included in the package price — a 20% gratuity is automatically added to the card on file 72 hours before your wedding day, so you don't have to think about tipping on the morning of.
